He helps these organizations navigate registration, compliance, and regulatory data requirements, drawing on a regulator's understanding of what examiners expect. Rajesh pairs that regulatory perspective with hands-on data engineering. At both agencies, he worked on the data infrastructure behind derivatives oversight, from swap reporting specifications to surveillance analytics and data quality programs. He builds regulatory technology (RegTech) and compliance solutions in Python, SQL, Snowflake, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). At Tölt Strategies, Rajesh guides designated contract market (DCM), derivatives clearing organization (DCO), and FCM applicants through registration, mapping regulatory requirements to client systems and drafting the supporting procedures. His work spans prediction markets, crypto derivatives, stablecoins, and tokenized real-world assets. He contributed to the prediction markets chapter of Thomson Reuters' 2026 Regulation of Swaps annual. At the SEC, Rajesh served as Swap Subject Matter Expert (SME) Lead for the Swap Surveillance Program. He led a team of subject matter experts that built surveillance analytics and data pipelines. The team also developed the data quality metrics behind the agency's first published Security-Based Swaps Report. At the CFTC, he directed the rollout of the CFTC 2.0 swap data specification across all five asset classes. He also coordinated reporting harmonization with international regulators and supported surveillance case matters for both the CFTC and the SEC.
