Kirke Cushing

Biography

Kirke Cushing is a seasoned financial services executive who brings more than 30 years' experience to Tölt Strategies and its clients. His expertise spans wealth management, risk and regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) due diligence, strategic business development, and go-to-market strategy. Having served as a Chief Operating Officer, a firm founder, and a senior leader at global institutions, Kirke helps investors and companies make sound strategic decisions grounded in operational and regulatory experience.

Kirke combines executive operating experience with an industry-level perspective on regulation. A well-known subject matter expert, he is active across extensive expert networks, providing insights to investors evaluating opportunities and to companies planning their next stage of growth. His perspective is shaped by his former service as a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) industry arbitrator and as a member of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) Private Client Committee, roles that reflect his long-standing commitment to regulatory integrity and industry best practices.

Alongside his work with Tölt clients, Kirke is a partner at a global advisory and consulting firm for financial services specializing in data governance, management, and quality, as well as operational and technical innovation, transformation, digitization, and visualization. He also serves on the Advisory Board of RipeMetrics, a customer growth platform for small and medium-sized online businesses.

Kirke previously served as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Managing Director at Mesirow Financial and as U.S. Head of Client Service at Deutsche Bank's DWS Investments.

He earned a Certificate in Financial Planning from DePaul University.
