Paul Brochert
Biography
Paul Brochert is a versatile strategy and operations executive with more than 15 years' experience leading complex initiatives across financial services, management consulting, and technology. At Tölt Strategies, he helps clients execute strategic and tactical projects spanning financial regulation, examination and enforcement response, licensing applications, control testing and validation, and product strategy. Combining Big Four consulting discipline with hands-on operating leadership, Paul brings clients the ability to turn regulatory requirements into workable operations and growth strategies.
Paul works across both strategy and execution. Whether a firm is responding to a regulatory examination or enforcement action, preparing a licensing application, or validating the effectiveness of its controls, he translates complex requirements into clear, actionable plans and sees them through. His extensive experience implementing compliance initiatives under the Volcker Rule, the Dodd-Frank Act, FINRA Rule 4210, the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive II (MiFID II), and Securities Exchange Act (SEA) Rule 15c3-3 gives clients a practitioner's command of the rules that shape their businesses.
Prior to joining Tölt Strategies, Paul served as Director of Operations for DJC Digital, a buyer-focused digital asset brokerage and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory firm. There he designed and implemented new product strategies, artificial intelligence (AI)-driven deal sourcing processes, and a proprietary data analytics infrastructure that delivered actionable M&A intelligence to private equity firms, family offices, and other professional acquirers of software, data, and eCommerce businesses.
Earlier in his career, Paul served as a Manager in the New York City consulting practice of PwC. He led large teams to plan and execute growth strategy, operational optimization, technology transformation, and risk management engagements for Fortune 500 financial services clients.
